Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Paymybill website and any related request process. By submitting a request or using this site, you agree to these Terms.
What Paymybill is
Paymybill is a discretionary goodwill service. We may, entirely at our option, pay a bill directly to a biller on someone’s behalf. We are not a bank, lender, insurer, charity registration scheme, or guaranteed assistance program.
Eligibility
Paymybill is available for Australian residents only. By submitting a request, you confirm that you are an Australian resident. We may decline or ignore requests from people who are not Australian residents.
No promise of payment
Submitting a request does not create any right, entitlement, contract, or obligation for us to pay your bill. All decisions are discretionary. We may accept, decline, delay, or ignore any request for any reason or no reason, without notice or explanation.
Payments go to billers only
If we choose to help, any payment is made directly to the biller (for example an electricity company). We do not send funds to you personally, and we do not reimburse you for bills you have already paid unless we expressly decide otherwise in a specific case.
Your responsibilities
- Confirm you are an Australian resident
- Only submit a request if you genuinely need financial help with the bill
- Provide accurate information and a genuine bill or invoice that belongs to you (or that you are authorised to submit)
- Do not use this service for fraud, abuse, or misleading requests
No warranty
This website and service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranty of any kind. That includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that requests will be reviewed, approved, or paid.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paymybill and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from any decision related to a request — whether based on contract, tort, or otherwise. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed AUD $0, because the service is provided free of charge and without obligation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory laws.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you also acknowledge that policy.
Changes and termination
We may change these Terms, or suspend or stop the service, at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
